Bridget and Eamon: Opening Titles

We were delighted to be asked to create the Bridget and Eamon opening titles for this hilarious 80’s comedy. We collaborated with Director Jason Butler, who gave us a brief that mentioned Visage’s music video for Fade to Grey.. We took this as a good reference point for the beginning of our concept and continued to storyboard each shot in the sequence. The sequence was shot on green screen exactly as we envisioned. We took the plates and started keying and composting backgrounds, smoke and lights.

Bridget and Eamon stars Jennifer Zamparelli and Bernard O’Shea. It first hit our screens in a Monday night slot on RTE2. The show’s success has meant that several more seasons have been written and it has been sold on internationally to both UK and US markets.
